Timeless. Classic. Breathtaking.
These are just a few of the words that come to mind when I reminisce on Riane & Zach’s wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
Picture this– a weekend full of magical, fairytale-like scenery.
Friends and family members conversing among the flowers, and a day full of love, emotion, and pure bliss.
If you picture your dream wedding venue amidst whimsical gardens, this Colorado destination is for you.
As a Colorado wedding photographer, I get the chance to explore breathtaking venues like the Denver Botanic Gardens. And this wedding captivated the garden’s nature beautifully with the use of colors and florals throughout.
It truly was a wedding to remember.
If you’re a bride-to-be looking to book the Denver Botanic Gardens for your wedding day, I hope these photos inspire you to lock it in. Now… let me share with you all the details about this dreamy Colorado wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
The Silvers traveled from New York City to celebrate their wedding weekend in one of their favorite places in Colorado.
The couple exchanged vows in a picturesque outdoor ceremony at the Denver Botanic Gardens surrounded by their closest family and friends.
But that wasn’t the only stunning part of the two-day celebration…
Let’s look back on the night before when the festivities all began. Huge shout out to Erika Sandoval Events, a very talented Colorado wedding planner, who helped put it all together.
The Silver wedding weekend began with an intimate rehearsal dinner at the French-influenced restaurant Coohills in downtown Denver.
Florals, custom linens, luxury seating, and intricate details filled the space, creating a feeling of fantasy for the evening.
The setup was sprawled along the Wewatta Bridge where guests mingled, celebrated, and enjoyed upscale cuisine as the sun set over the Denver skyline.
It was the perfect start to a magical wedding weekend.
The wedding day kicked off at The Ramble Hotel; a boutique hotel inspired by Madame Rambouillet’s French Salon of the 17th century. It’s located in Denver’s River North Art District.
As the bride and groom were getting ready, they exchanged thoughtful gifts and heartfelt words through handwritten notes to each other.
Their chemistry, even in different spaces, is undeniable.
Riane slipped into her Carolina Herrera, Little White Dress, as Zach dressed into his custom-made, Coppley of Canada suit detailed with meaningful family heirloom cufflinks. Riane and Zach, yet to see each other, traveled to the Denver Botanical Gardens to tie the knot.
With its lush and vibrant gardens, fragrant blooms, and breathtaking views, the Denver Botanic Gardens breathed energy.
Stunning wedding details accented the already immaculate gardens.
As guests arrived, they were surprised by a unique version of a guest book for the happy couple. Guests were invited to leave messages on a recording telephone for the couple to listen back to after the festivities came to a close.
Friends and family took Polaroids for the guest book, enjoyed bride and groom specialty cocktails, and were blown away by the beauty surrounding them.
The ceremony itself was filled with love and laughter. Riane– the beautiful bride– made her way down the aisle with her Donna Beth Creations veil over her face. The aisle is where she locked eyes with her soon-to-be-husband, Zach, for the very first time that day. Riane and Zach exchanged heartfelt vows and their just-married kiss under an incredible floral arch by The Wandering Poppy.
We got together for the couple’s just-married photos in the gardens right after the ceremony. We had unlimited gorgeous floral backdrops for intimate moments of the now husband and wife.
This is one of my favorite parts of every wedding day– capturing the pure joy, bliss, and excitement as the newlyweds officially begin this chapter of life together as a married couple.
I had so much fun photographing the Silver’s. As their wedding photographer, I captured who they are together. I always try to offer just the right amount of guidance for shots, while making sure to cultivate the authenticity of the relationship.
And as you can tell, they make a fabulous couple!
After Riane and Zach’s just-married photoshoot, it was time for the party!
Dinner amidst the Denver Botanic Garden’s flowers followed, with champagne toasts and speeches before the rain came. Truly perfect timing. We then transitioned to the reception at The Ramble Hotel Vauxhall.
The reception was lively with sophisticated details including a baby’s breath wreath over the checker print dancefloor.
Champagne flowed, the dancing was energizing, and the couple cut their orchid-inspired cake by A Cake Come True.
All in all, it was the perfect end to a truly magical weekend.
Cheers to you Raine and Zach, and thanks for inviting me to be a part of capturing your unforgettable wedding!
